Oh my goodness… hello again!

( Also in this picture you might all see a familiar face!! And yes…I think he might be the boy in the mural…) –

I dont even know where to begin with this week. I feel like I say every week here is crazy but I think this one takes the cake….so far.
First I went to Starbucks for the first time. Not too crazy but kinda random. It’s way good though I’ll give them that.
So we eat lunch with an Hermana in the ward once a week and her name is Hermana Hurtado. She is salvadoranion and makes the BEST food… butttt she has this “cute” habit of talking about me in front of me. Haha she’ll say things to hermana Sears like “wow she must like the food” or ask her questions about me. I never say anything 1.) Cause idk what to even say to that cause I already told her her food was good like 5 times and 2.) shes not talking to me! …just about me! Well she had a friend over for lunch with us this week and while she was doing the dishes me and her friend Carmen were talking in the living room. While Carmen was telling me a story Hermana Hurtado walks in and says to Carmen “she doesn’t understand you” and laughs hahahhahahahhaha ….uhh wait what?… I looked at her and said “yes I understand I just cant speak” Hahahahaha then she says TO HERMANA SEARS, “oh she understands?” Hahahaha YES I UNDERSTAND I JUST CANT SPEAK OKAY??!! I had a good laugh about it though.
Next up on the list, Freddy.
Remember freddy from last week? Yeah well oh boy, buckle up Haha! So we teach him about once or twice a week via video chat with his member friend randy. Well this week we had to check of the Chastity lesson from the list so I was already pretty red faced trying to accomplish that in Spanish, THEN he starts telling me I’m pretty. We laughed, I said thank you, shrugged it off and got back to the lesson. Well about 2 minutes later we found ourselves listening to him tell me “su ojos son hermosa!, bella, muy guapa and BEAUTIFUL!!” I WAS AT AN ALL TIME REDNESS from both blushing, and crying cause we were laughing so hard and the worst part was NEITHER RANDY OR HERMANA SEARS SAID ANYTHING! And after about 20 more minutes of trying to get back back on topic and also me trying to frantically close the lesson it ended with him saying he hoped I was in his dreams that night….. to which we replied by Hermana Sears holding up the chastity pamphlet and me pointing to it. Annnnnddddd that was the beginning of my book I’m writing called “Things I Never Thought (or hoped I would never) I’d Hear On My Mission”:)…
ANNDDDD last but not least: The Real LA:) (mom and grandmas please tune out for the following)…
Every Sunday we get there super early to greet people at the sacrament doors. Well as we were doing that a few Elders were talking with some of the Priesthood holders in the ward and a little bit before the meeting started our Elders came up to us and said that we needed to go and calmly lock all the doors to the building other than the front ones and if we saw a large African American Male with dreads we needed to either get the Elders, those priesthood leaders or the bishop off the stand. No one else knew what was happening so it was pretty nuts. He never came so we were safe and all turned out good!!
So yeah that’s about all I can share for this week! Hope you are all so good and happy!!
My spiritual thought is to be a little more loving. If you look up the definition of charitable it is defined as the highest and noblest form of love. Which means we should remember that we are all so dang far from perfection and yet Christ still loves us perfect and completely. He is not quick to anger or be annoyed neither slow to forgive. So this week I’m inviting you all to remember your own weakness before pointing out someone else’s and to look at them for Gods point of view.
My saying I’ve made up on the mission is “You dont have to like em, Ya just have to love em.” So there ya have it. Now go and do:) love you all! Be safe and Keep Smilin;)
Love Ryenne

Okay in case I haven’t mentioned it I am SO EXCITED for Elder Holland like holy cow!! Plus they told us since there is so few of us (there’s like 260 missionaries here right now but next week they have 160 more coming! **salutes teachers and walks away**) we get to shake his hand!! I’ll probably turn red like dad and start to nervous sweat, thanks dad:)
Well to all my young subscribers I’m sorry this week hasn’t been near as exciting as the last few, but at least I know my grandma’s will read this email with ease:) love you all lol

Well this week has been an adventure and a half. And before my grandma’s freak out about the subject and my mom smacks her forehead I will enlighten you.
